In the first round, the team is asked a series of questions. As each question is asked, three balls — white, green and red — are released from drop zones. If the team’s answer is correct, the balls turn green and their values are added to the team’s bank. If they answer incorrectly or fail to lock in an answer, the balls turn red and their values are subtracted from the team’s bank. In the end, the wall plays a role in how much money a team makes.
