Talking about it to DT Next, Srinath says,”I felt that only Yuvan can do justice to this song and approached him. He instantly agreed as he fell in love with the concept. Titled Alia En Thozhiya, the song begins when the dog falls head over heels in love with another dog named Alia. It’s an interesting sequence and I am sure the audience would love it” He also adds that the team has bought in a Japanese VFX team to work on this film. “The dog, which plays the protagonist, talks in most of the scenes. The VFX portions are crucial and I have made sure that it did not look amateurish.”
Srinath says that the dog plays a role of a Vijay fan in the film. “The dog’s name is Ghilli and both the dog and its owner will be seen as an ardent Vijay fan in the film. There are eight more dogs in the film, that play pivotal roles.” Composed by Arrol Corelli of Pisasu fame, the makers are planning to release it early next year.
