Dhanush’s next gets MGR’s popular film title?
Though Dhanush had announced his project with Karthik Subbaraj a couple of years ago, the shoot of the film began only a week ago in London. Bankrolled by Y Not Studios and Reliance Entertainment, the film also has Malayalam actress Aishwarya Lekshmi in the lead.

The latest buzz in the tinsel town is that the makers have decided to name the film after MGR’s popular blockbuster flick, Ulagam Suttrum Vaaliban.
A source says, “The film is a gangster thriller and the protagonist of the film will be travelling to different parts of the world. That’s one of the reasons why makers felt that Ulagam Suttrum Vaaliban will be an apt title for the project. They are already in the process of acquiring the rights. An official announcement will be made soon.” Malayalam actors Joju George and James Cosmo will be part of this project as well. Dhanush is also waiting for the release of Vetri Maaran’s much-awaited film, Asuran, which is based on a Tamil novel titled Vekkai.
