Kiara Advani in talks for Vijay 64

While speculations were rife that actress Rashmika Mandanna, who is making her debut in Tamil with Karthi’s project, will play the female lead, we hear from reliable sources that the makers are also in talks with Bollywood actress Kiara Advani for the role. A source close to the team says, “The makers of the film recently met Kiara in Mumbai and discussed on the possibilities of working with her. Though she expressed her interest to be a part of it, nothing has been finalised yet. An official announcement will be made post the release of Atlee’s film.” The source adds, “As of now, Antony Varghese of Angamaley Diaries fame is the only supporting actor who has signed the project.”

Bankrolled by Xavior Britto, the film is touted to be an intense action entertainer. The technical crew also includes cinematographer Sathyan Sooryan and editor Philomin Raj.
