SIFFA to decide on ENPT’s release plans today

Enai Nokki Paayum Thotta has been in the headlines for the last two years. The film has been facing financial roadblocks which in turn resulted in Dhanush not completing the dubbing work for the movie. The makers had initially decided to release the film in April this year before postponing it indefinitely. On Wednesday, tinseltown reports surfaced that the film is all set to hit the screens on July 26. 

When we contacted the President of South Indian Film Financiers’ Association, Tirupur Subramaniam, he said, “We will be holding talks with Gautham Menon today and will arrive at a decision later in the evening. Until then, we cannot comment on the release status of ENPT.” Gautham Menon owes Dhanush a pending amount of Rs 1.5 crore only after which the actor will dub for the film and release it this month. It was Gautham Menon, who had dubbed for Dhanush in the censor version of the film. Apart from Dhanush, Megha Akash plays the female lead, while Sunaina and Rana Daggubati in important roles.
