Indian footballer Vijayan roped in for Vijay-Atlee’s Bigil
The first look posters of Vijay’s upcoming film with Atlee revealed that the actor will be seen playing a role of a footballer in the film and the entire story revolves around this popular sport. The latest we hear is that former Indian football team captain IM Vijayan has been roped in to play a pivotal role in the film.

Major portions featuring him has been shot on the outskirts of Chennai and his character will be something unique. A source in the know of things says,“Vijayan will be seen in the flashback sequences of the film and he has a lot of combination scenes with father Vijay. An official announcement will be made soon.” Bankrolled by AGS Entertainments, the film has Nayanthara, Reba Monica John and Jackie Shroff. A biopic in Malayalam on the veteran footballer is also in the offing.
