Talking about the gap after Rum, he opens up, “I was listening to scripts. They weren’t bad, but they weren’t convincing enough for me to take up. When I listened to the script of Unarvugal Thodarkadhai, I realised that it has an emotional connect.”

Divulging more on the storyline, Hrishikesh says, “I play a married man in the film and I wasn’t sceptical about it. Today, software professionals, who are hardly 26 years of age, are forced into marriage by their parents. This will be one such film. I wouldn’t say that Unarvugal Thodarkadhai is an offbeat story that’s worth a watch. It is your regular film, but it will connect with everybody. We all would have been in situations that are shown in the screen. The impact that it creates among the audience will be the success formula,” he explains. The film produced by Sameer Bharath Ram and directed by Balu Sharma is all set to hit the screens soon. “Post production work is taking place in full swing,” says Hrishikesh. He concludes by saying that he will make an announcement about his next film in a couple of months.
