Smruthi Venkat and Nirosha roped in for Agni Natchathiram

Smruthi Venkat will be pairing opposite Vidharth in the film and the makers are still in search of other female lead. “It’s an intense character and will be way different from her character in Thadam,” the source adds. Interestingly, veteran actress Nirosha, who was a part of Mani Ratnam’s Agni Natchathiram, has signed this project as well. The shoot of the film will begin by the end of September and major portions of it will be shot in Chennai, Yelagiri and Coimbatore. Actor Udhaya earlier told us that the film has nothing to do with the 1988 blockbuster and it is him who acquired the title rights from producer Ishari K Ganesh.
