Nizar’s 7 to hit the screens in June

Talking about the film, the director told DT Next, “I have titled the film 7 because the story revolves around seven characters, who are a part of a police investigation. The film is an investigative crime thriller.” He also revealed that the characters in the film are inter-connected. “There will be a point in the film, where all characters come together, and the suspense unravels. Thereon, the audience will see all characters sharing the screen space for most of the second half,” added the director.

Nizar said with a smile that he was shooting the film across hectic schedules in Chennai and Hyderabad. “We shot simultaneously in both the languages. I was working as a cinematographer for a Telugu film during the day and was working for my film at night. Also, I needed the dates of all six heroines on the same day for scenes in the second half. So, everything fell in place and we are currently at the post production stages. The highlight of the film is that all six heroines are six different characters and will not have any overlap in their characterisations,” he explained. Produced by Sri Green Productions, the film will hit the screens in the first week of June to cash in on the Ramzan weekend.
