Santhanam signs Kannan’s next

Talking about the project to DT Next, Kannan says, “I am happy to team up with Santhanam and I am sure that my film won’t dissapoint his fans. It will be a wholesome entertainer with all commercial elements to attract the family crowd. Though it’s a comedy film, I am concentrating more on the technical aspect of it.” He adds, “The film will be something on the lines of Jigarthanda. I can’t reveal more details about it as it’s too early. In fact, we are yet to finalise on the film’s composer and the female lead. An announcement will be made in a couple of weeks.”

Meanwhile, the director is also working on another project, which will feature Atharvaa as the lead. Santhanam is waiting for the release of a film titled Accused No 1, which is directed by Johnson of Naalaiya Iyakkunar fame.
