CHENNAI: The ANZ India Business Chamber organised an Indian Business Delegation to Singapore from September 26-29, 2022.
The Chamber also launched its Chapter in Singapore in the presence of a large gathering of business community, where Raj Joshua Thomas NMP, Parliament of Singapore, addressed the members of the delegation and the business community. The session also had some of the eminent corporate leaders addressed from Toll Group, Citibank, Cyril Amarchand Managaldas, AJP Advisors Group, etc.
The delegation interacted with the premier industry bodies, Singapore Business Federation (SBF) and Singapore India Chamber of Commerce & Industry and discussed the possibilities in Chamber-to- Chamber collaborations in helping the business community to establish and expand their footprints in the bilateral space.
The delegation was led by P Santhosh, MD-CEO of ANZ India Business Chamber. On the developments, he observed that Singapore is an important partner for India in terms of both trade and investment and the recent initiatives of the Indian Government with reforms and liberalisation of the policies are encouraging more Singapore based organisations to look at India for expansion.
“We could also see an increasing role for Singapore as a connecting country in the Indo-Pacific region particularly for those Indian companies looking at opportunities in the ANZ region and vice versa,” he added.
