Princeson Jose elected chairman-SR GJEPC

CHENNAI: Princeson Jose, CMD, Prince Jewellery, is elected as the chairman-SR of the Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC). In a recently-held committee of administration election for the year 2022–2024 at GJEPC, Jose was elected unopposed for the fifth term.

As a regional chairman, Jose will officially represent GJEPC in the states of TN, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala and Union Territories - Andaman & Nicobar Island, Lakshadweep Island and Puducherry.

During his earlier stint in the same position during the period 2006-2015, he organised the first-ever buyer-seller meet in Chennai with buyers from South-East and Middle-East countries. Jose said, “In India, south has always been a key market of gem and jewellery unlike gold diamonds .”
