Amazon to expand its B2B Global selling program for Indian exporters
Enthused by the success of its seven month experience in Business to Business Global selling program in India, Amazon announced that it planned to expand it further.

Peeyush Nahar Vice President of B2B marketplace business in Amazon talking to newsmen said as many as 2000 sellers from India currently benefit from the programe that covered buyers in North America, Europe and Japan. Started as a pilot programe late last year, it had received a positive response he said adding that the programe simplified the complexities of global trade and helped Indian sellers showcase their tremendous strengths in quality products across the world.
He said "the B2B global selling programe takes another step buy hiding the complexities of procurement processes of fortune 500 companies from Indian sellers". Some of the sellers who find difficulty in securing bank loans are also provided help through the seller lending programe. A number of financial institutions have been tied up with Amazon for this, he added.
Mr Gopal Pillai, General Manager and Director Seller Services in Amazon India said that as many as 32,000 exporters offer over 90 million made in India products to customers across Amazon's 11 global market places. This is an opportune time to further strengthen the programe to enable Indian exporters access both B2C and B2B markets, he added.
