Mega conference in Chennai on World Realtors Day
At a time when the Real Estate Industry was going through a consolidation phase, over 400 realtors from all over India would assemble in Chennai on the World Realtors Day on March 21 to discuss issues impacting the industry.

The event would be organised by the Chennai Real Estate Agent Association (CREAA).
A CREAA release on Saturday said the realtors from across the country would discuss issues, which impacts not only their business, but real estate industry as a whole. Tamil Nadu Housing and Urban Development Secretary S Krishnan would preside over the function, which would also be attended by CREDAI Tamil Nadu President Ajit Choradia, CREDAI Chennai President Suresh Krishna, National Association of Realtors India President Pravin Phanse and Secretary Ayub Khan.
According to CREAA Chennai and NAR-INDIA President Azeem Ahmed the event would be attended by members of 45 different city associations from all over India.
“It is a fact that more than 80 per cent of all the real estate transactions in India happen through the involvement of Real Estate Agents. Hence it is imperative to have properly trained agents representing both the buyer and the seller,” he said.
CREAA constantly trains its members to understand the real estate scenario in all its aspects. This was done through talks, education programs, seminars and symposia, he added.
“The real estate industry today is going through a consolidation phase. The complex and ever changing real estate laws and regulations have to be understood by every member in detail to enable public repose their confidence on the industry,” Azeem said.
“We provide pre-and after sales service to build customer loyalty which is a critical input in our profession,” he added.
