CII unveils local food fest at Foodpro
CII kickstarted the three day Foodpro - India’s biennial event on food processing, packaging and technology - the 12th edition from Thursday at Chennai Trade Centre.

O Panneerselvam, Deputy Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu was the Chief Guest who inaugurated the event. With the presence of over 250 exhibitors, Foodpro 2017 provided an important platform for all stakeholders to showcase the latest technology in food processing, packaging, cold storage, warehousing, food and agriculture, logistics and related products.
This year, as a value addition to Foodpro 2017, two concurrent shows are being organised viz ColdStoRe 2017 and T-Food 2017. ColdStoRe will focus on the complete cold chain.
T-Food, a traditional food festival will aim to bring the awareness about the traditional and local foods, especially millets.
