Chennai training firm signs up with bigwigs
The corporate training industry, estimated to touch 25 million USD next year, has been growing at such a pace that newer entrants such as the city-based Potential Genesis are looking for a pie of the market.

The relatively-young is seeking to leverage its “exclusive Indian” affiliation with the USbased HRM Possibilities, an entity started by globally well-known HR thinkers – Howard Morgan, Ronald Campbell and Marshall Goldsmith.
Potential Genesis, a company started by RR Krishna and S Krishnan in 2014, was formally inaugurated last year. Positioning itself as a personal growth and development venture, it services clients such as Royal Enfield, MRF, TI and TAFE. Ronald Campbell, who was here on Thursday, shared some best practices that are aimed at empowering people through customised solutions. “Every organisation has a unique culture.
We work to match the client’s needs and provide solutions that can help them resolve conceptual skill deficiencies and other HR-related matters,” he said. Largely, the effort is to expose trainees to decades of experiential training that have worked for Fortune 500 companies. With over 30 years of consulting and training experience, Campbell says “wherever leaders put their feet, whomever they look in the eyes… that is where they can do better and make their biggest impact as a leader.”
Essentially, the solutions offered would address behavioural issues both from individual and organisational perspective. Potential Genesis is planning to bring Campbell thrice a year for a more cost-effective partnership.
Typically, the charges of HR thinkers in the US works around $20,000 a day. After engaging with a team of about 40 people at PayPal, it is hopeful of signing deals with American companies in the city, Krishnan, Chairman and Co-Founder of Potential Genesis said. “We are also engaged in discussions with training facilitators in UK. We will announcing some more tie-ups soon,” he added.
