Do not shift Nannilam Arts and Science College, says EPS

Pointing out that students from that colleges were protesting against the shift of the institution, he said the government should stop its proposal by promising the students to end their stir.

CHENNAI: AIADMK interim general secretary and former chief minister Edappadi K Palaniswami on Friday condemned the DMK government's move to shift Arts and Science situated in Nannilam Assembly constituency to Tiruvarur constituency. Stating that when AIADMK was in power in 2017, the college was opened, Palaniswami said at present, more than 500 students including women students were studying. Pointing out that students from that colleges were protesting against the shift of the institution, he said the government should stop its proposal by promising the students to end their stir.
