CHENNAI: A Class 12 girl, R Vaitheeswari, a resident of Ramnad and hosteller of a private school at Sillankulam near Ottapidaram, Thoothukudi district was found dead inside a restroom at her hostel.
Social Welfare Minister Geetha Jeevan, Collector Senthil Raj officials from Departments of Education, Police and Revenue inspected the spot. Thoothukudi SP Balaji Saravanan said the cause behind the incident is yet be known. However, Pasuvanthanai police have filed a case under Sec -174 of CrPC. The victim's mentally disturbed recently after her relative killed self and was unwell for the last one week.
