MADURAI: The sleuths attached to DVAC, Kanniyakumari Detachment on Tuesday laid a trap during which a suspect Thangavel, Deputy Superintendent of Police, District Crime Branch, Kanniyakumari was caught red handed while demanding and accepting bribe of Rs 5 lakh from the complainant for settling a civil dispute pending enquiry with DCB, Kanniyakumari, sources said.
