Tamil Nadu Chief Minister has arrived to Republic Day celebration venue in Chennai. He was escorted by police motorcycles on his way. This year's Republic Day flag hoisting and salute base happens in front of the Liberty statue and not the Gandhi statue owing to the metro rail works.
