14 arrested in Tamil Nadu in petrol bombs incidents

CHENNAI: Tamil Nadu police has so far arrested 14 people across the State in connection with cases of hurling petrol bombs at premises belonging to workers of BJP allied outfits since Friday.

Member of PFI had been allegedly indulging in violence to mark their protest against the NIA raids on PFI members and it's office across the country.

As many as 19 cases of hurling petrol bombs were registered in districts, including Coimbatore, Erode , Madurai , Salem , Dindigul, Kanniyakumari and Thoothukudi so far. Police had arrested 14 people linked to 11 cases, a press release from Tamil Nadu police HQ said on Monday.

Police had arrested 19 people till Sunday in connection with damaging buses alone.
