Producer Kalaippuli S Thanu squashed all rumours regarding the movie 'Vaadivasal' stating that the Suriya-starrer movie would happen as planned.
He took to his Twitter profile to clarify. He wrote,'எண்ணியது எண்ணியபடி, சொல்லியது சொல்லியபடி, வெற்றி மாறன் ( @VetriMaaran) இயக்கத்தில் சூர்யா (@Suriya_offl) நடிப்பில் “வாடிவாசல்" வலம் வரும் வாகை சூடும்'.
Earlier, a fake account in the name of the producer announced that Suriya would not be cast in the upcoming movie. Thanu quickly responded stating that it was a fake account and that people should report it.
He wrote,'Please report this fake account which has been spreading false news about our projects. https://twitter.com/thivcreations'. He also wrote the same in Tamil.
The movie will be directed by Vetrimaran with Suriya playing the lead role. The first look of the movie was unveiled on the actor's birthday in July.
