“Gun-free zones. We’re getting rid of gun-free zones, OK? I can tell you that,” Trump said in his address to the national convention of National Rifle Association (NRA) the powerful pro-gun lobbying group in the US in Kentucky.

Trump’s promise, which was not part of his written speech, came soon after he was endorsed by the NRA for his stand in favour of gun lobbying groups. “That wasn’t part of my speech, I must be honest with you,” he said.

“Crooked Hillary Clinton is the most anti-gun, anti-Second Amendment candidate ever to run for office. And as I said before, she wants to abolish the Second Amendment. She wants to take your guns away. She wants to abolish it,” he alleged.
