22 killed in fire in China

At least 22 people were killed and three others injured today in a fire at a two-storey residential house in China's eastern Jiangsu Province.

The fire broke out at around 4:30 am in the house in Yushan Town in Changshu City, state-run Xinhua news agency reported.

At least 22 people have been killed and another three injured in the incident, the report said.

The fire has been put out and investigation have been launched to ascertain the cause of the fire, it said.
