Rana Daggubati clarifies rumor on his health condition

Rana sheds light on the actual reason behind his US stay.

Recent rumors on health conditions of Tollywood star Rana Daggubati has pushed the actor to shed light on the actual truth.

Rana Daggubati has been staying in US for a few weeks now, and words has it that he has been there for a surgery. Some reliable sources even affirmed that he secretly underwent a kidney surgery in Chicago on 18th of this month, accompanied by his parents. But, none of his close aides or family members confirmed this news.

When Rana posted a selfie video of him in Instagram congratulating actor Vijay Deverakonda for his upcoming film ‘Dear Comrade’, the comments section of his post was filled with fans reacting to the surgery rumors that was being widespread by the media. His recent weight loss added spices to the rumors and made his fans worry more.

A user commented, “rana what about ur surgery? are u ok in health”

Another user commented, “All the best for your surgery @ranadaggubati..Get well soon we want you in big screen ????????❤”

Series of similar comments were seen on his post.

To one of the comments, the actor replied, “Stop reading that stuff.”

On Thursday, the ‘Bahubali’ actor finally clarified that his stay in US is associated to his upcoming cine project and not for any medical reasons. He stated, “I am currently in the US for a few weeks to research about my next project and meet a few visual effects companies for special effects for one of my upcoming project." He also added, “I am scheduled to visit Technicolor's Pre Production facility and working with digital domain on 'Hiranyakashyap'." 

On the work front, Rana’s Bollywood flick ‘Housefull 4’ is set to release soon and he is shooting for films ‘Haathi Mere Saathi’ and ‘Virata Parvam’.
