A message stating that the United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund (UNICEF) had sent precautions and preventive measures to avoid coronavirus is going viral on social media. The message provides eight practices assuring that it prevents coronavirus. The message is circulated in picture and text message formats.

On checking the authenticity, it was found that the message was not present in UNICEF’s official website and the spokesperson of the organization dismissed this as rumour. In addition, UNICEF is taking steps to find the source of the false information.
