A video of priests engaged in an altercation and toppling the donation box in a temple has gone viral in the backdrop of the Ram Temple Bhoomi Pujan. The message says, “In Karnataka when govt servants came to collect hundi money, priests asked them to get the donations from churches and mosques.” Alt News found the clip was shot at Kolaramna Temple in 2015. The priests had removed a hundi placed by the government in the temple eight years ago.
