Cyclone Amphan had wreaked havoc in parts of northeast India in mid-May. A video of a landslide claiming it happened in India has gone viral.

A Facebook page called The Manipur Age posted the video, claiming it occurred on Meghalaya national highway. Alt News analysed the video and traced it to Indonesia.

Meghalaya Police later debunked the claim saying the video is from the settlements of Chiangjur and Sukanagara in Indonesia.
