An image depicting slain soldiers laid on the ground has now gone viral with the claim that it is of martyred Indian soldiers in Ladakh. Alt News had received several requests to fact-check this detail on its official application. After performing a reverse image search on Google, it was found that the image was pertaining to Nigerian soldiers who were martyred while battling militant Islamist group Boko Haram.
