CHENNAI: In a new viral video, a group of people are seen making a difficult trek through the mountains. It was claimed that they are from Myanmar and are secretly entering Manipur, through a secret passage. The footage is being shared at a time when Manipur is beset by violence between the Kuki and Meitei communities. AltNews found the footage pertained to Iranian nomadic families living on Mount Dena, in the Zagros mountain range of Iran. Many such families embark on risky journeys, as part of their daily lives.
