A video of two policemen from New Delhi purportedly conversing with a few people, instructing them that there will be no ‘Azaan’ (call to prayers) and that it was an order by the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi, has now gone viral. Alt News found that the Delhi police had tweeted that people are expected to follow lockdown rules while observing roza and prayers, but Azaan may be carried out in accordance with NGT guidelines.
