World Bank aid for TN health projects

Health minister Vijaybaskar said the World Bank has ordered 2,900 crore rupees for development work under his ministry.

The World Bank has cleared substantial aid to fund projects under the state health ministry in Tamil Nadu.

Health minister Vijaya Baskar said the World Bank has ordered 2,900 crore rupees for development work under his ministry. 

He said the aid would be used to improve facilities to international standards at state-run hospitals in the state. 

He said Chief Minister Eddapadi K Palaniswamy will formally announce the projects soon.
