After the undisputable victory of the DMK alliance, the MDMK cadres of Erode hit back at the haters with posters that read 'How's Vaiko's luck?' as a rhetorical question.
Incidentally, the parties Vaiko allied with, mostly have ended up second best or less. This is a frequent pillory against him used by haters.
With the resounding success of both DMK and the MDMK candidate, Vaiko's supporters take pride in his bellwethering DMK's success.
