The Central Crime Branch (CCB) of city police have registered a case against DMK youth wing leader Udhayanidhi Stalin in connection with his obscene remarks on Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami in a meeting with his party cadre recently.

He has been booked under Sections 153, 294(b) of IPC and 67 of Information Technology Act, said sources. While addressing the party's advocates wing on Sunday, he made certain comments about the Chief Minister and the video clip of the same went viral, inviting strong criticism. However, city police remained tight-lipped about the registration of the case.
