CHENNAI: Tamil Manila Congress (TMC) president GK Vasan on Sunday said that Tamil Nadu needs an honest, simple, and pure Kamaraj model.
"Under Kamaraj's golden rule, Tamil Nadu has developed. An honest, simple, and pure Kamaraj model is needed for Tamil Nadu's prosperity. There seems to be laxity in promoting rural development. It is the responsibility of the government to properly release funds for villages and monitor their development," said in a press conference.
The 48th death anniversary of former Chief Minister Kamaraj is being observed today. On this occasion, GK Vasan paid floral tributes to the statue of Kamarajar at the TMC head office.
