CHENNAI: A Superfast express special train would be operated between Tambaram to Nagercoil on Sunday and a train from Nagercoil to Tambaram would operate on Saturday and Monday to clear extra rush.

Train no 06053 from Tambaram to Nagercoil will leave Tambaram at 22.20 hrs on Sunday and reach Nagercoil at 11.00 hrs next day. The train will reach Tiruchirapalli at 03.30/03.40, Madurai at 05.45/05.50 and Tirunelveli at 08.35/08.40, said a Southern Railway statement.

Train no.06054 from Nagercoil to Tambaram will leave Nagercoil at 13.20 hrs on Saturday - Monday and reach Tambaram at 03.00 hrs on next day. The train will reach Tirunelveli at 15.00/15.05, Madurai at 17.15/17.20 and Tiruchirapalli at 20.00/20.10.

The composition of Garib Rath express will be revised consequent to the conversion to LHB rake. Train No. 12611/12612 Dr MGR Chennai Central – Hazrat Nizamuddin – Dr MGR Chennai Central Garib Rath Express will run with revised composition from Dr MGR Chennai Central from 15th June - from Hazrat Nizamuddin from 17th June. The revised composition will be of 15 AC three tier economy coaches and two luggage cum brake vans added the release.
