Officials told to inspect waterbodies ahead of monsoon in Tamil Nadu

To ensure that the waterbodies remain stable in the upcoming monsoon season, the state has instructed Executive Engineers (EEs) attached to the WRD to undertake walk through surveys.

“The EEs should walk around the dams, rivers and lakes and undertake repair works if there are any. The EEs should ensure that all the shutters are in working conditions and all repairs should be completed by October 10, this year,” said a statement.
