No special classes during summer holidays: Director of School Education

In the recent order, directorate of school education has advised the schools not to conduct special classes during summer.

Director of school education, Rameshwara Murugan in a latest press release on April 10, said that an advisory is issued to all private schools, instructing them not to conduct special classes for students during summer holidays. The government will take necessary action if such classes are held, he added.

This announcement followed after DPI received complaints from parents about the summer classes planned by various schools for the upcoming annual holidays, sources said.
