NMR trains suspended for two days

The railways have suspended the Nilgiri Mountain Railway (NMR) services between Mettupalayam and Udhagamandalam for two days due to the ongoing restoration works on the railway track obstructed by boulders and soil.

Due to landslides between Kallar and Hillgrove railway stations, the NMR train services were cancelled for two days on Monday and Tuesday, said a statement. However, the NMR services between Coonoor and Udhagamandalam were operated as usual.
