NIA searches mobile shop in Kovai

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) sleuths on Saturday searched a cell phone shop in connection with the purchase of a sim card by an extremist arrested in Kerala.

The seuths searched the shop at Edayarpalayam after inquiries with a Maoist sympathiser revealed that he had purchased the sim card for his mobile phone from Coimbatore. Police sources said that the address proof given by the extremist was fake. Further inquiry is underway.
