The new buses would operate along the routes Red Hills to Tirupati and from Tiruttani to Tirupati. Tamil Development and Archeology minister K Pandiarajan and Minister for Rural Industries R Benjamin were also present during the occasion. Speaking at the occasion, Minister Benajmin said that both the buses were chosen for the routes after getting feedback from the public and claimed that both the buses and state-of-the-art facilities. Benjamin also travelled in the new bus from the Collector’s office to the venue of the function to flag off the bus. “These buses were introduced in the routes to Tirupati to cater to the need of the pilgrims,” said a district official.
