LB Polls: Alangayam BDO suspended

Tirupattur Collector Amar Kuswaha ordered the suspension of Alangayam BDO Sivakumar, who is also the rural local body polls returning officer, for not taking action when local party workers entered the premises of the counting centre on Sunday.

Stating that cadres were inside the counting centre for nearly 25 minutes, he said he had asked the SP to check the CCTV cameras and suspend the police personnel too.
