Kabasura Kudineer given to Vellore police recruits

The State Commercial Taxes Minister KC Veeramani called on newly passed out grade II constables to ensure personal health when they join the duty shortly, on Saturday.

The Minister was speaking at a function organised by the Vellore district police in the Nethaji stadium where the 184 women constables and three men constables, were given Kabasura Kudineer and its powder to ensure that their bodies build up immunity as they were expected to join duty very shortly.

Those present at the function included Vellore range DIG N Kanini and SP Pravesh Kumar. Officials said that the new recruits were ordered to join duty at short notice due to the current pandemic which had placed physical and mental stress on available officers and men.
