CHENNAI: The Regional Meteorological Department (RMD) in its recent weather forecast has predicted heavy showers in 4 districts today.
Nilgiris, Coimbatore, Theni and Tenkasi is expected to receive heavy rains today, while Theni and Tenkasi will continue to receive heavy downpour tomorrow as well.
Rains are also predicted in Virudhunagar, Madurai, Thoothukudi, Kanniyakumari, Tirunelveli, Tiruppur, Dindigul, Erode, Salem, Dharmapuri, Krishnagiri, Namakkal and Tirupattur today.
As far as Chennai is concerned, light to moderate showers along with thunderstorms are predicted for the next 48 hours.
