Former TN Chief Minister Kamaraj remembered

CHENNAI:  Floral tributes were paid to late Congress leader and former Chief Minister K Kamaraj on his death anniversary.

Leaders of various parties, including the ruling DMK, its allies, including the Congress, and the main Opposition AIADMK also paid rich tributes at his memorial in Guindy.

Paying tributes to Kamaraj, Chief Minister MK Stalin, in a social media post said Kamaraj fought for India's freedom and faced hardships and had later laid a strong foundation for school education and industrial development in Tamil Nadu as Chief Minister.

"Let's walk in the light of the life shown by Kamaraj who never deviated from the Gandhian path!", he added.
