VCK MP D Ravikumar on Friday urged Chief Minister MK Stalin to field a candidate from Tamil Nadu as a common candidate for the upcoming President election to be held in July.

Ravikumar, in a tweet, said that as the President election is approaching Stalin should take steps to identify a leader from Tamil Nadu and should field him as a common candidate of Opposition. No person with RSS background should be made either President or Vice-President, he said.
