DMK to hold election coordination committee meet today at Anna Arivalayam

CHENNAI: The ruling DMK will hold a election coordination committee meeting today at 5 pm at Anna Arivalayam.

A five-member committee headed by Deputy CM Udhayanidhi Stalin with 3 teams including the IT team, is reported to participate according to Daily Thanthi.

It is reported that the Election Coordination Committee meeting is to be held after the cabinet reshuffle and the appointment of Udhayanidhi as the Deputy CM.

The last meeting was held in July and the second meeting is to take place today.

DMK had earlier formed a committee to coordinate the election works for the Assembly election in 2026.

Chief Minister M.K. Stalin said that the committee would include K.N. Nehru, Thangam Thennarasu, E.V. Velu, Udhayanidhi Stalin, and organisation secretary R.S. Bharathi.
