CM announces Rs 3 lakh aid to kin of Tamilians killed in Sudan

Three men from Tamil Nadu lost their lives in a blaze that broke out in a ceramic factory in Sudan in December last year.

The government of Tamil Nadu has ordered financial aid to the families of three men who died in an accident in Sudan. 

The victims - Ramakrishnan, Jayakumar and Rajashekar - all  from Tamil Nadu - were killed in a fire at a tile factory where they were employed. 

Reports quoting a statement from Chief Minister Edappadi K Palanisamy said he ordered three lakh rupees to the families of each victim. 

The fire was caused by a gas leak at the factory early last month and the bodies of the three men were returned to their families, according to reports.
