The Controller of Examinations of Anna University, Chennai has announced that the much speculated final semester exams for both Undergraduate and Post Graduate Engineering students, will be conducted online.

The exams will be conducted from 22nd - 29th of September.

Further details of the timings and time table for the same are awaited.

Meanwhile, the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) had issued a stern message against clearing arrears of Engineering students. The AICTE has warned that students getting promoted in this fashion will not be taken for higher studies nor will they be hired in tech companies.

Moreover, it had also warned of divesting Anna University's approval if it promotes its students without conducting exams.
