Admissions for classes 1 to 10 start in schools in TN

The government schools initiated the distribution of free textbooks, notebooks, uniforms and other stationaries during the admission process.

Amid COVID 19, the schools opened admission of students for classes 1, 6 and 9 and for students changing schools had started in Tamil Nadu on Monday. People were advised to wear protective masks and follow social distancing norms.

Earlier, Tamil Nadu School Education Minister KA Sengottaiyan stated that admission for government and other schools would start in Tamil Nadu for classes 1 to 10.

Admissions for class 1 were done based on the official documents submitted by the parents as the students were not present.

The government schools initiated the distribution of free textbooks, notebooks, uniforms and other stationaries during the admission process.

It was reported that the admission for class 11 will start on August 24.
